I have a soft spot in my heart for Spain destination weddings, but Angelie and Socheat’s celebration of love completely blew me away. These two held nothing back and wanted to experience their day to the fullest. Surprisingly, what started as a day of soft romance turned into a night of exhilarating mayhem! And we loved every second of it!

Ang and Soch dazzled at their Seville wedding, and their photos speak volumes about their epic love story. Let me show you how they marked their new beginnings.

Meeting The Fabulous Couple

When I met with Angelie and Socheat for the first time, their radiant personalities truly struck me! They come from LA, but have mixed backgrounds – the bride is from the Philippines, while Soch is Cambodian. They wanted their Seville wedding to be an all-round thrilling experience rather than just one eventful day. Since they’ve never been to the city, the couple wanted to go sightseeing with their family and have an extended honeymoon right after their grand celebration.

Thanks to their amazing wedding planner team, Kiveli Weddings, Ang and Soch landed on Hacienda Molinillos, a gorgeous Andalusian-style estate, just a few minutes outside Seville. As we arrived, I was amazed by the city backdrop, and I instantly knew that the photos would turn out fantastic. Turns out, I was more than right!

A Heartfelt Ceremony

Once we arrived at the couple’s hacienda wedding, both Angelie and Socheat went into their respective suites to get ready for the big day. The windows overlooked the amazing Seville cityscape and let in plenty of natural light, so I took the time to capture these special in-between moments.

Now, one thing I always advise my couples is to always be upfront about their expectations so I can help them in the best way possible. Luckily, Soch took my advice, expressing he’s a bit camera-shy. But, that wasn’t a problem for us! Once his crew was around him, the tension drifted away, and he just embraced the moment. Judging by the photos, you can tell he’s a natural, right?

Still, the real magic happened moments before the ceremony. Since the couple wanted a quiet moment for themselves, they opted for a first look. Angelie gave her husband-to-be a little pinch, and his mouth was left wide open when he saw the bride!

The ceremony was even more special. Kiveli Weddings went above and beyond to create a ceremony space that felt lush, romantic, and truly intimate. It was like a private love sanctuary! The couple shared a big smooch and had their walk down  the aisle as a married couple.

A Chaotically Lovely Reception

After the ceremony, I whisked the couple away for their portrait session. I loved photographing these two because they were practically the embodiment of color – just like their personalities! Then it was time for the reception, where the groom made an eye-catching entrance with a somersault. You could practically feel his excitement in the air!

While the morning was slow and romantic, the reception of this Seville wedding was entirely something else. Since we were already in Spain, the couple wanted to provide unforgettable entertainment for their guests. And there was only one choice – flamenco dancers! All eyes were on their passionate and fiery moves, riling up everyone present. Finally, it was time for the couple and their closest to tear down the dance floor, marking the end of this spectacular wedding in Seville, Spain.
